About Us and Data Control Policy

We started trading in Weston Super Mare in Somerset since 2007 and being a family run business - we are passionate about our products and always strive to offer the best customer service poosible because that is simply what we expect as consumers.

We endeavour to ship same day and use Royal Mail First Class post. This is included in the price you see for all UK orders. International orders are welcome and these are again shipped by Royal Mail at a fixed price of £2.50 regardless of the package size or weight. All international orders are shipped by airmail for speed of delivery to you.

We offer the best quality leather watch straps and bands we can find - if a product is not up to scratch, we do not stock it.

We are able to source watch straps and bands from around the world and also have very good relationships with many UK suppliers and manufacturers. We are official stockists for Darlena, Condor, Apollo and LBS. We choose our suppliers based upon many factors, to include the support they are able to offer - quick delivery of high quality products for instance. This enables us to quickly respond to enquiries and maintain good stock levels.

Data Protection Impact Assessment

 

Information Gathering.

  • As an e commerce business, we only need sufficient personal data about our customers to enable us to complete an order process – ie, name, address and sometimes telephone numbers.

  • We only use third party payment providers ( Paypal and Amazon Payments).

  • Please be aware that the information we receive from third party payment providers must have already been provided to the third party payment provider by you, our customer.

  • If a customer requests contact by phone, we only use the number provided to answer the issue at hand and only record them until issue resolved.

 

Use of Customer Data

  • We ONLY use customer data to fulfil an order. It is not kept for any other use.

  • We DO NOT pass on any customer data to any other individual or organisation.

 

Data Security.

  • Staff are made fully aware of our DPIA statement and how to control the date we handle. Any updates or changes are discussed to ensure procedure is followed.

  • Customer data ( typically paper copy of payment / order) is held in a locked secure steel store to minimise it being lost or stolen.

  • Paper records are stored for a minimum of 7 years to ensure compliance with HMRC record keeping periods. After this time, the records are shredded before disposal.

  • The data we are given is transmitted to us by email. Our PC is password protected, as is the email receiving software ( https ).

  • After approx 12 months, the email with payment info and customer details is deleted from our email server.
